We are very proud to announce our registration today with the Charity Commission, marking an important new chapter for the charity and the most important news for us in many years.
With demand for funds nationally growing at an alarming rate, the requirement for increased fundraising has never been more important than it is now. Today’s confirmation of our registration at the Charity Commission has come at just the right time. It opens so many more doors to us as we can join fundraising schemes such as Facebook, and more of the well known fundraising sites that require us to have a Charity Commission number. Many large corporations have offered support in the past, but have very strict rules about the charities that they support, so today’s news will mean that we will be able to welcome support from anyone, or any business large or small, kind enough to offer their help.
It has not been easy, but we got there, and we can now push on with raising funds to support as many families as possible across the UK.
